Founded by Karen Phillips, Interior D9 represents premium outdoor furniture and shade manufacturers for retailers, designers and contract professionals throughout the Midwest.
A University of Missouri graduate in Interior Architecture and Design, Karen began her career in visual merchandising before moving into retail buying, where she spent more than a decade managing home furnishings categories, including outdoor. Since 2020, she has worked as an independent manufacturer’s representative specializing in luxury outdoor furniture. That combination of interior design, merchandising, buying and sales experience gives Interior D9 a practical understanding of what makes a line work—from the showroom floor to the finished outdoor space.
